Our experience with East Valley Athletics (EVA) Cheerleading has been positive right from the start. The very first thing the coaches taught our daughters was proper technique. They emphasized correct body positioning, jump technique, performing skills in unison, etc. We were so appreciative of this type of instruction and attention to the basics. It makes such a difference when performing a routine!
Over the course of the season, we loved seeing how the coaches encouraged team bonding, responsibility, sportsmanship, cooperation, and communication - all skills that the athletes could apply both on and off the mat. One of the best parts about EVA was all the fun that we had! We highly recommend EVA for families who want their athletes to learn, grow, and have fun in the sport of cheerleading under the guidance of caring and talented coaches.

What a great first season of cheer for our daughter, Alyssa. She wasn’t really sure what she was getting in to but the coaches and her teammates made her feel welcomed. The coaches are excellent and patient with the kids. My daughter has learned so many new skills during her first season and she cannot wait to be back. As a parent, we are impressed and would not hesitate to recommend EVA!

My daughter who is 8 years old now, started cheering when she was 4 years old. From 4-7 years old she cheered for an Allstar team. With Allstar cheer comes a lot of cheerleaders ranging from 3-18 years old, so you can imagine with so many cheerleaders and familes it’s easy to just get lost in the shuffle or to feel as though your just there for that gym to collect a payment from you. At EVA it truly does feel like we’re all just one big happy family which is so nice and refreshing for both my daughter and our family. The coaching at EVA is well rounded, with each coach comes a different personality and skill/ability that they bring forward. They work well together and create such a fun, loving, hard working and welcoming environment which in my opinion is all you could really ask for. My daughter absolutely loved her first season with EVA, there is no doubt we will be back for many more seasons ahead of us! Come join our EVA Fam, I promise you won’t regret it!

When my daughter who’s 8 showed interest in cheer I was skeptical at first because she hasn’t done anything like it and I wasn’t sure she could physically do it. I didn’t want her self esteem to be damaged. Well in fact quite the opposite happened.. as weeks went by and the practices continued, new skills learned, core strength built, she absolutely excelled and her self esteem flourished!! She went in with zero experience and came out a whole new girl, with a whole new confidence!! A mothers dream for their child at any age. The entire coaching team is dedicated, committed, passionate and above all want what we want for our kids.. building character, confidence, integrity and sportsmanship!! I am so proud to be part of the EVA family and truly in awe of my daughter and what she is developing into. As an extremely competitive person I have learned to trust the process and let their talents lead and that’s exactly what happened this season. These girls became true athletes up against fierce competitors, giving all they had every practice and competition. With all that being said with joy in my heart and tears in my eyes I say to anyone thinking of joining our cheer family .. DO IT, TRY IT, EMBRACE IT and you too will watch your child become something extraordinary.
